The Gargellen ski area, also known as Schafberg, is famous not only for its guaranteed snow but also for its superb snow conditions. The wide, white slopes of the high alpine valley begin right in front of the house doors of Gargellen. They are full of exciting ski trails and offer plenty of opportunity to experience real carving and that magical feeling of skiing in deep powder snow.

 Gargellen is also only a short distance to the well known ski region of Montafon with its Alpine Scene and is easily reachable by bus with just a 10 minute ride. 232,50 km of marked runs at various degrees of difficulty ensure an ideal range of snow sports activities across the ski areas in Montafon.
